Engraved Name Necklaces FAQ

Question 1

What does an engraved name necklace show?

Accepted Answer

It shows a name, short word, or date cut into the metal on a bar, plate, or pendant layout. Customize Names produces each engraved name necklace from the text you enter on the product page.

Question 2

Which metals are offered for engraved necklaces here?

Accepted Answer

Most engraved necklace styles use 925 sterling silver, with 24K gold plated over 925 sterling silver or rose gold plated over 925 sterling silver when listed. Stainless steel appears only on PDPs that name it.

Question 3

How do I submit engraving for a necklace?

Accepted Answer

On the product page, choose style and finish, then type the engraving exactly as you want it cut. We follow your typing—including spelling and capitalization—so proofread before checkout.

Question 4

Which engraved necklace layouts are in this collection?

Accepted Answer

You will see script, block, bar, and birthstone-linked engraved designs tagged to this grid. Layout and finish options differ by product page.

Question 5

Does necklace plating stay bright forever?

Accepted Answer

No. Plating can wear with friction, perfume, lotion, or water, so store dry and avoid harsh chemicals to help the finish last longer.

Question 6

When do shoppers usually gift an engraved name necklace?

Accepted Answer

Common moments include birthdays, new parents, and milestone dates. Use Gift timing above for make and ship estimates; every order includes a complimentary gift box.
