Custom Name Necklaces FAQ

Question 1

What is a custom name necklace?

Accepted Answer

A custom name necklace is personalized jewelry that shows a name, word, or initials you choose—cut out, engraved, or set on a bar or plate. Customize Names makes each piece to order from the details you enter on the product page.

Question 2

What materials does Customize Names use?

Accepted Answer

Most styles use 925 sterling silver, with options for 24K gold plated over 925 sterling silver or rose gold plated over 925 sterling silver. Some pieces are stainless steel where listed on the product page.

Question 3

How do I personalize my necklace?

Accepted Answer

Open the product page, choose your style and finish, then enter the name, word, or initials exactly as you want them. We produce the text as typed, so check spelling and capitalization before you order.

Question 4

Can I choose the font or letter style?

Accepted Answer

Many designs offer script, block, or style-specific lettering shown on the product page. Font preview tools may vary by product; always confirm spelling before checkout.

Question 5

Will gold or rose gold plating last forever?

Accepted Answer

No. Plating can wear with friction, perfume, lotion, or water, so store dry and avoid harsh chemicals to help the finish last longer.

Question 6

Is a custom name necklace a good gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes—popular for birthdays, Mother’s Day, anniversaries, and everyday wear. Use Gift timing above for make time and shipping estimates, and send it in the complimentary gift box when shipping to someone else.

Question 7

Where can I read return and shipping policies?

Accepted Answer

See our Customer Help and Shipping Policy pages for the current rules. Timing estimates for this collection are summarized once under Gift timing above.

Question 8

Do you use diamonds or natural birthstones?

Accepted Answer

Accent stones on applicable styles are moissanite, not diamond. Birthstone options are simulated birthstones unless a product page states otherwise.
